located near Santo Domingo and is part of the Costa de Hiscagu\u00e1n Natural Monument. From here you can see the cliffy coast of Garaf\u00eda and the varied vegetation of the surrounding area, including \"tabaibas\" (a type of crassulaceae) and \"cardones\" (a type of cactus). You can also see several \u201croques\u201d, such as Roque de Santo Domingo, Roque del Guincho and Roque de Las Tabaibas.\n<\/p>\n[\/su_spoiler]\n\n[\/su_accordion] <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-37aa0c18\" data-id=\"37aa0c18\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6b5c7e02 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"6b5c7e02\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Barlovento<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5b198fb7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-shortcode\" data-id=\"5b198fb7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"shortcode.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-shortcode\">[su_accordion] \n[su_spoiler title=\"La Tosca viewpoint\"]\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">\nIt is located on the northern road, next to the access to the hamlet of the same name. From here you can see the hamlets of La Tosca (just below), Topaciegas, La Palmita and Gallegos (to the west).\n<\/p>\n[\/su_spoiler]\n\n\n[su_spoiler title=\"Gallegos viewpoint\"]\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">\nIt is located in the Gallegos neighbourhood and from it you can see the coast of the municipality and the old wharf of Talavera.\n<\/p>\n[\/su_spoiler]\n\n[su_spoiler title=\"La Monta\u00f1eta viewpoint\"]\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">\nIt is located between the Punta Cumplida lighthouse and La Fajana, offering views of both coastal enclaves.\n<\/p>\n[\/su_spoiler]\n\n[su_spoiler title=\"La Cuesta viewpoint\"]\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">\nAlso known as Lomo Mach\u00edn, this viewpoint in Barlovento offers views of the entire east coast of the municipality and also of Los Sauces.\n<\/p>\n[\/su_spoiler]\n\n\n\n[\/su_accordion] class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5e34ec6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-shortcode\" data-id=\"5e34ec6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"shortcode.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-shortcode\">[su_accordion] \n[su_spoiler title=\"La Concepci\u00f3n viewpoint\"]\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">\nIt is located at the southern end of a crater declared a Natural Monument and offers views over Santa Cruz de La Palma, with the port in the foreground on one side and the airport and the coast of Bre\u00f1a Baja on the other.\n<\/p>\n[\/su_spoiler]\n\n\n[su_spoiler title=\"La Cumbre viewpoint\"]\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">\nIt is at an altitude of about 1,300 metres and offers a panoramic view of the municipalities of Santa Cruz de La Palma, Bre\u00f1a Alta, Bre\u00f1a Baja and Villa de Mazo, from the areas covered with evergreen forest to the coast.\n<\/p>\n[\/su_spoiler]\n\n[\/su_accordion] <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 Baja<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-61d8085 elementor-widget elementor-widget-shortcode\" data-id=\"61d8085\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"shortcode.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-shortcode\">[su_accordion] \n[su_spoiler title=\"Risco Alto viewpoint\"]\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">\nThere are incredible views of the tourist area of Los Cancajos and its coast, as well as of Santa Cruz de La Palma and La Palma Airport.\n<\/p>\n[\/su_spoiler]\n\n\n[su_spoiler title=\"Monta\u00f1a de la Bre\u00f1a viewpoint\"]\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">\nFrom here you can see a view from the sea to the peaks and it is located in the Monta\u00f1a de la Bre\u00f1a recreational area.\n<\/p>\n[\/su_spoiler]\n\n\n\n\n[\/su_accordion] <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-900a5af elementor-widget elementor-widget-shortcode\" data-id=\"900a5af\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"shortcode.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-shortcode\">[su_accordion] \n[su_spoiler title=\"El Charco viewpoint\"]\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">\nHere you can see part of the Tamanca Protected Landscape. It offers a panoramic view, from the Canarian pine forest of the summit to the coastal tabaiba scrubland of the lower areas of the municipality, and the strip of coastline that is part of the Marine Reserve of La Palma.\n<\/p>\n[\/su_spoiler]\n\n\n[su_spoiler title=\"Astronomical viewpoint of the San Antonio volcano\"]\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">\nThe viewpoint of the San Antonio volcano is located in the south of La Palma, in the area known as Cumbre Vieja, in Fuencaliente, at an altitude of 633 metres above sea level. The San Antonio volcano viewpoint has a visitor centre.\n<\/p>\n[\/su_spoiler]\n\n[\/su_accordion] <\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div data-id=\"91a9e36\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"shortcode.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-shortcode\">[su_accordion] \n[su_spoiler title=\"Cruz de la Reina viewpoint\"]\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">\nIt has views of the Natural Monument of the Hiscagu\u00e1n Coast.\n<\/p>\n[\/su_spoiler]\n\n\n[su_spoiler title=\"Viewpoint of Monta\u00f1a de Matos\"]\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">\nIt is located in the coastal area of El Pinar and, from the top of the mountain, you can see the fields, the neighbouring municipality of Garaf\u00eda on the other side of the Barranco de Izcagua, and the cliffs of the class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-shortcode\">[su_accordion] \n[su_spoiler title=\"Las vueltas de San Juanito viewpoint\"]\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">\nThis is a small viewpoint from which you can contemplate the coastal landscape, as well as the peaks and slopes of Santa Cruz de La Palma, Las Bre\u00f1as and Villa de Mazo.\n<\/p>\n[\/su_spoiler]\n\n\n[su_spoiler title=\"El Salto del enamorado viewpoint\"]\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">\nIt is located in San Bartolom\u00e9, in La Galga, from where you can see the municipality.\n<\/p>\n[\/su_spoiler]\n\n[su_spoiler title=\"Nogales viewpoint\"]\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">\nIt is located before reaching the beach of the same name and offers a spectacular view provides spectacular views of the east and south skies. Its thematic focuses on the ancient mythological vision of the seas, the religious past of the inhabitants of the Canary Islands and the link to the star Canopus, the main star of the Argos ship. There are also four planispheres that make it easier to recognise the constellations in the sky.\n<\/p>\n[\/su_spoiler]\n\n[su_spoiler title=\"Hermitage of La Luz\"]\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">\nBuilt on the cliff of La Luz, like a defensive watchtower visible from the port of Santa Cruz de La Palma, the hermitage is consecrated to the Dominican friar San Pedro Gonz\u00e1lez Telmo and Nuestra Se\u00f1ora de la Luz (Our Lady of Light). As protectors of sailors, both devotions have played an essential role in the religious and devotional history of the neighbourhood, which was originally occupied by sailors, pilots in the Indian route, fishermen and ship owners. It offers the best panoramic views of the port of Santa Cruz de La Palma.\n<\/p>\n[\/su_spoiler]\n\n[su_spoiler title=\"Castillo de La Virgen\"]\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">\nLike the Castillo de Santa Catalina, this fortress located on the slope of La Encarnaci\u00f3n was also built in the 20th century. From the viewpoint you can enjoy a panoramic view of the midlands and the north coast of Villa de Mazo.\n<\/p>\n[\/su_spoiler]\n\n\n[su_spoiler title=\"La Caldereta viewpoint\"]\n<p style=\"font-size:14px\">\nIt is located on the road from Tiguerorte to Por\u00eds, on the edge of the Caldereta Crater.
